I see a booth hawking these at every convention I go to.  Maybe someday I'll actually pick some up....or make my own.

Looks great for 28mm but too big for 15mm? - any suggestions?

Whilst looking for cheap Toblerone in Poundland today, by total accident I first walked past the candles, then cotton balls and finally Toblerone. Everything I need for an evening of modelling! Hoping mine turn out as nicely as yours and thanks for posting a tutorial!

Edit: only one of six works... Maybe won't be a WHOLE evening of modelling

If you don't support the base when u pull the clear battery separator out u can snap one of the soldered wires to the led. (I opened one up that wasn't working and et vola!). Took one pack back today exchanged no issue.

Out of the 24 I got only one is not working ... so I got lucky :-)

For 15mm ... they still might work ... they'll be a little big ... haven't checked to see if there are smaller sized tea lights.

Another use...

Use a room with a dimmer switch on the wall and drop the lighting down.  See if your eyes are good enough to play a night battle in an urban setting with fires ablaze.  That'd be downright fun and atmospheric  (maybe keep a small lamp area for dice rolling).

Interesting idea ... play by the light of lanterns ... I recall someone doing that in an old fort for a Muskets and Tomahawks game :-)
