British Marines for the French and Indian War, what did their uniform look like?
Does anyone make figures in 28mm? Or could I use British regulars? It seems google has failed me on this one.

This engraving, dating to about 1757, shows marines in fusilier-style mitre caps:

Figures seem hard to come by. Recently, Northstar has added some to their upcoming pirate range (http://nstarmagazine.com/ON_THE_SEVEN_SEAS.htm), but I don't know how they compare to other ranges. Several others are mentioned in this TMP thread (http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=205316).
Several regiments of marines served in the AWI, and these are documented wearing tricornes, their uniforms being red with white facings.

Thanks gents.
I though the new Northstar ones looked to be earlier than FIW but perhaps not. I'd need a few extra riflemen to make them usable for Muskets & Tomahawks though. It appears I have some thinking to do

The North Star ones are for the first few decades of the eighteenth century. Squint a bit and scrape off the monogram on the mitre and they might do though.
