I didn't fancy paying GW prices for my giant so I "kitbashed" one here:
Here's how you get a giant for Warhammer for £1:

Good idea and nicely executed!

:o
That really is pretty awesome!
I want one! lol
-
I just love this kind of wargamer lateral thinking. Excellent job, very clever.
-
Very fine work sir.
The finished model on your blog is superb

Jim

Excellent work sir!
-
Great stuff :)
-
Pretty cool...that's one seriously ripped giant. lol
PS: As a fellow "make it cheap" enthusiast I applaud this effort.
-
Great Idea, consider it stolen lol
-
Great work.

Thanks for the kind words. I think he looked great on the table but ultimately did nothing much then got killed by a skaven doom wheel.

Well you had a moral victory! Yours was painted lol
-
Amen to that!

Wow, when I saw the action figure, I did not think it was going to end up looking so good.
Great work.
Action figures and toys -when used correctly can work well in gaming. One of our members used a samurai'ish action figure as a giant in our last campaign and it worked well.

That samurai certainly does the job! I'm going to have to give your blog a thorough read when I get the chance...your campaign looks brilliant; especially the narrative elements.
Your link wasn't working. I think it should be:

I guess mine would lose a wrestling match against your gaint but I had to dig out that pic from 5 years ago:

That would be the coolest thing ever but I'm guessing an original He-man would make the GW giant look cheap!
-
Thanks!
You can link to all the games in that campaign (last summer's) here:

We're just starting a new summer campaign now

though no major toy conversions yet.

Not a giant, but I also turned a toy into a gaming piece:
