All,
So I finally had a fact to face game of PA with my Son In Law. We played the scenario twice, the second time was much better. One thing confused both of us though. I had a Lagoon in the center of the table, with a Boat "Plot Point" that was needed to cross it, otherwise, wading the Lagoon was Very Perilous. In both games, my son in law got to the boat first and was able to win the plot point. Is that it? Does he automatically keep it, or can I attempt to take it from him, which is what happened.

If you knock out a character who possesses a plot point, it is placed back on the table, per the general rules for placing plot points (must be more than 6" away from any character or table edge).

Yup, FF is correct. ;)
Also -- it might seem rather odd to let the character maintain control of a boat if he moves away from the water, so you could have a "scenario" rule that says the character must remain on the boat to maintain control.

So if a plot point is lost by someone getting K.O.'d and it gets replaced on the board as per starting rules, who gets to place it? The fallen or the hopefull? Should it not be dropped in place assuming not within 6" of edge or mini? Like if guy with Macguffin drops... Macguffing skitters 6" away... Or guy on boat gets KO.'d and the boat moves 6 inches on it's own till it stops.

For clarification, you lose a plot point if you are knocked down or knocked out (eliminated from the game). It is much more likely a leader or sidekick, the characters most likely to possess plot points, will lose a plot point from being knocked down than out. The lost plot point is "[placed at] the spot the character went down."

Nah, sorry I missed that. Religon has it right...

Yup, those are fun ideas as well. We do something similar with some mobile plot points - like hostages and such. But we normally have them move 1d6" in a random direction.
You should definitely feel free to add in a special scenario rule when it makes sense.

Whoops, my bad!
That's a double goof on my part since we even played that correctly when we had our first game! After Peaches was knocked out, we placed the plot point right next to his prone form.

Mobile plot points... Love it!
