Hi lads,
A quick call out: does anyone have a comparison picture of curteys knights, 1st corps and gripping beast? Or can anyone tell me how well they mix?
Thanks!
-
Curteys Miniatures and Gripping Beast should mix quite well. The Kingmaker figures are from a later period and are taller.
-
The Curteys Dark Ages figures and those from Gripping beast mix perfectly. Alas, I don't have any knights.
-
I have some comparison photos of Curteys figures with Gripping Beast and quite a few other manufacturers here...

No 1st Corps yet, though!

I think they work fine together. The Curteys suffer with only having one choice of Helmet style though, so no variation.

Loving those shields!!

Lovely paint work.

Wow, some very nice minis you have yourself there! Thank you for posting this, really helpful! You don't happen to have mounted versions as well?

Not painted. I could do you a scale comparison piccie though, but it won't be until the weekend?
Thanks for the comments chaps. Bear in mind the shields are transfers ;)
-
Transfers or not the rest of the painting is pretty damn good. Who makes the transfers?
-
Curteys will soon be releasing both foot and mounted knights with separate heads. The new heads will date from late C12th to mid C13th.
More for this soon.

@Malamute that would be excellent, Thank you!
