Title: I "love" website search engines somedays
Post by: Conquistador on July 01, 2014, 05:41:12 PM
 lol

On the reaper web site and wanted to see if there were any Martial Artist Monks in the Bones...

So I entered "Bones monk" and...

My results were:

Miniatures > Bones Monk
1 to 2 (of 2 Figures)  <snip>

77166: Balto Burrowell, Gnome Wizard ($1.99)
    Sandra Garrity 77166_w_1.jpg
    80001: Ape-X ($3.99)
    Jason Wiebe 80001_w_1.jpg

The Ape-X Super-"monk"ey I understand but the Gnome Wizard?   :o   lol

What weird results do you get from website search engines?   o_o

Gracias,

Glenn

Its not quite the same but I remember when the web was still new and I was searching for pictures of a'tiger' for my son for a school project.

it brought up some four legged tigers and then along with the top results there was a picture of a very scantily clad woman in  tiger 'bikini' aka 'scrap of clothing' ... not quite what I was wanting my 4 yo to see.

I learnt to search differently after that!

PS With whats on the internet these days I think I got away lightly back then!

Never realised that 'Gladiators' is apparently also US slang for a certain group of male people with a preference for leather & wrestling
