Title: pink and blue foam in Australia

G'Day chaps,

Having seen some fantastic builds here utilizing blue and pink high density foam I'm left with a question, where do I get it?

A trip to my local bunnings (read mega hardware store chain) turned up only polystyrene floor insulation and thin rolls of foam for concrete expansion joins. A trip to my local Eckersly's (read art store chain) turned up only foamcore (read foam in a card sandwich). Trips to numerous hot dollar stores and variety stores turned up nothing. A trip to pet 2000 turned up no foam and no cork/bark for scenery either...

So, in Sydney, where do you get it?

I once got a good haul or offcuts for a reachable price from these guys, but since have told me they only sell in sheets.

I wouldn't mind going halves in some of the stuff if that suited you - depending upon what size you needed.

Thanks Furt, is it only possible to buy wholesale? That seems a little strange. No other joy?

Well in that case, perhaps it may be required. I'm pondering terrain boards/stone walled buildings.. pretty tentative at this stage.

I have not bought from them myself but I am told they are okay and have both pink and blue foam (amongst other things) in sheets.

Thanks, looks like a 'big' job to get some big sheets, on the positive side I didn't miss an obvious place to get it  lol

Now to wait for the perfect project. :D
