Title: So what happened today?

Down for about 24 hours... hardly the end of the world, but I'm curious about what happened all the same (and surprised there's no comment on it).

after a 12hr night shift, I like to relax with a nice cup of tea, reading some cool threads.

The web service provider (1&1) had a crash, a lot of servers (not only LAF) were offline. No idea what happens, the only answer I've received so far is vague "technical problems".

Wasn't the end of the world, but yes - was a little unsettling having all that spare time ;)

Randomly, I've had my "Show new replies to your posts." list include threads that were replied to today and then about 20 other threads stretching back to March 2013!

Anyway - good to be back.

I had the same experience.  I was gone at a concert all day so I missed the outage. Perfect planning as it turned out.

So today i went from 18 pages of unread posts to 47 pages.
