I'm looking for some good German sentry minis (Western front), much as I like the Foundry models, they do tend to come up rather small compared to the converted Warlord & Wargames Factory plastics (with a smattering of West Wind SotTR) that I use. I've seen some by Ebob minis & they look quite good, but I don't know how they compare in terms of size - does anyone out there have these minis?

Artizan have some http://www.artizandesigns.com/prod.php?prod=1383

Thanks for the replies, as mentioned, the Foundry models are a little short, though the Artizan Feldpolizei are a possibility. Here's a pic of the Ebob Great Escape minis - does anyone know how they'd sit next to Warlord/Wargames Factory minis?

Pulp figures do some, don't know how they scale up to the rest though.

Pulp Miniatures are 28mm, EBob is nearer 25mm

Many thanks!

Have a look at http://mainly28s.com/comparison/+1910F.figures_comparison.html (http://mainly28s.com/comparison/+1910F.figures_comparison.html). I've got comp[arison shots of most manufacturers, including eBob, there.

Artizan also have a few other good guard figures in addition to the military police:

Far left and third from left.

German sentries pack in the Thrilling Tales section.

Thanks again for the pointers, I'll probably go for the Artizan 'Thrilling Tales' ones as there's a bunch of others I wanted.

I have to say I have the Foundry figures and I have never understood why people think they are too small. Some of their ranges are, certainly - Franco Prussian War figures are tiny. But the WWII Germans are by far the nicest on the market and fit in pretty well with most others.
Though the Artizan figures are very nice too, you won't go too wrong with them!

Respectfully disagree with Warburton, I have Germans from a selection of manufacturers (Black Tree, Artizan, Foundry and Crusader) and the Foundry ones are noticeably smaller. Very nice figures, but I wouldn't mix them with other manufacturers in the same unit
