Do NOT go here, without a lotta time, AND a F A T wallet...
ZERO experience with them, but Oh My Oh My do they have some sweet toys...
Like most model railway stuff, they are proud of it too.

yeah, really cool stuff. Too bad the guy himself isn't.
Tried to put an order once, but his shopping cart is constructed so that it doesn't show any postage. "It just adds the cheapest P&P" after you went through PayPal/visa...
So, bearing in mind the ridiculous postage costs from US to EU, I send an email asking how much postage would be to Belgium, so I would know what I'm up against.
Got a rather unfriendly mail back that he had sold to Belgium lots of time and if I didn't just buy, I wasn't really in to his stuff. and no he couldn't be bothered to look up postage costs.
Needless to say he can stick his extremely beautiful models where the sun doesn't shine >:(

Try your local craft store. In the beading section they normally have flat/2d animals, vehicles etc. for hanging on bracelets and necklaces. I'm sure you could find something suitable.

Got mine here: http://www.atriflesmall.co.uk/148th-scale-16-c.asp
A lot of the 1:48 accessories on this site work surprisingly well with 28mm scenery.
