Got my first models from the kickstarter and thought I would show them off. The casting are very nice with minimal mold lines that are really easy to clean up. If the vehicles are going to be made from this stuff then they will be fantastic. I will show more progress soon and a size comp shot. It would have been nice to get a third weapon sprue for the price I paid.
Not sure what color to paint them yet, anybody have good photo?

It looks like there is some mould slip on one or two of them.
Are they all number 9 for a reason or is it just that number 9 was a random number and you've just ordered multiples of them?

Google the rogue trooper xbox game. There are shots of pillboxes there.
I was given set a few weeks back. Having them all the same number is a pain in the arse as they were individually number and deployed in large numbers too. Another example of mongoose magic in respect to being faithful to the IP.
Anyway you can convert the numbers easily with a chisle blade into a 5, 3, 7, etc.. (again a bit of thought moongoose could have done them as 88 allowing loads of number combos).
I've also coverted a number if mine further by cutting off the middle two tubes so it looks like it's just deloying.
Nice sculpts just a few issues with a lack of thought from mongoose.

So you can only deploy only one each of what look to be multiple weapon types? What if you wanted multiples of a particular gun?

You can deploy I think ten of the same weapon in a unit/selection from the army list if you choose or a mix. The limited weapon sprues kinda suck. Here are my pillboxes with altered numbers. It was not difficult to alter them.
There was some mold slippage on some of them, but they cleaned up extremely well, so no issues.

Here is a size comparison with a Vor union trooper. The pillbox is mounted on a 30mm bases.
