Just a small transport heads up for anyone planning to use the train or bus, especially from Glasgow.

The Commonwealth Games are on in Glasgow at the moment, and don't finish until the 3rd August. At the moment any train to Glasgow is stupid busy (and this is from a daily commuter on the line, so I've done my fair share of crowded trains)

You'll be fine getting to Edinburgh (although the Edinburgh Arts Festival starts this weekend, which won't help), but be aware that any journey back to Glasgow is likely to redefine the term "crowded". It's bad enough when it's just commuters grumbling, but it's families with kids everywhere you look just now.

Still, that aside, I too am looking forward to the show, although I'm struggling to come up with a "things to buy" list. Sometimes, however, that's the most dangerous state for someone easily tempted by new shinies o_o.

I do hope there are a few stands not selling Bolt Action stuff, as they dominated Carronade back in May, and got a bit tedious :-[
