My third regiment in three weeks. Been quite productive. Not sure why I was so apprehensive about painting Zulus - they are fun and quite easy to churn out. Got twelve more riflemen almost done as well that should be completed tonight. That will make 48 figures in five days. It also means that I have run out of Zulu miniatures.

Looking good.
I find it much easier to churn out the Zulus than their red coated adversaries too.

This project was totally one off the wall for me. I had no interest at all until I impulse purchased 120 brits/120 Zulus off the internet.

Great job,you need lots of Zulus, way to churn them out so nice.

Do you mind me asking, what size are the sabbot bases and what size are the individual bases on the models please?
I ask as I'm about to do the same with some Beja and Pathans and I think you have got a good look to the models the way you have based them 8)

Hi Darrell
The round bases are 25mm. The Zulu sabots are 60x90mm. The British ones are 60x60mm. The sabots are 3mm mdf with a base of 0.85mm magnetic sheet. I guess you could use anything thing as a base - plasticard or something similar.
Cheers
