I have been working on adding bases to my 6mm Epic 40K vehicles. I am currently working on Space Marines so they get the bases first. I like how they turned out.
You can see more pictures and the details at my blog. http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2014/07/adding-bases-to-my-epic-40k-space.html (http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2014/07/adding-bases-to-my-epic-40k-space.html)
I am using metal bases with wood glue to hold the talus on.

Here is the finished product.

What do you think? Do you base your 6mm vehicles?

It look great... may I ask where you got those metal bases and how big they are? 8)

The Predators look good. I am working on a 6mm Heresy era force and I am on the fence about basing vehicles. I prefer the look of no base for vehicles as they look great on any terrain. On the other hand the advantage of a base is it help protect the vehicle a bit plus you can use a magnet under the base which helps with transporting.

Transportation was the primary reason I chose to base these. For this scale, it makes sense.
The bases came from http://www.wargameaccessories.com/ (http://www.wargameaccessories.com/). These are 25mm x 25mm. I've used their bases for several projects and I like them. The prices are reasonable and they come in lots of different sizes.

I base mine! But I prefer round bases...
-
My command teams will be based on round bases. I like the square and rectangular bases for this scale.

I do like basing vehicles, although I understand the reasons put forth by those that don't base them.
One advantage of the square/rectangular bases in particular though, is that you can easily determine front/side/rear strikes if your ruleset has bonuses for armour penetration or such (the old Epic 2E rules did for example).
