Title: (Army Painters 2014) Jonas is painting Arthurians.

So I am going to build and paint an Arthurian British themed army for some game or the other.

I have a pack of 40 platic Dark Age warriors from Gripping Beast and a pack of metal characters. This gives me a total of 48 miniatures to start out with.

I would like to add some seperate heads from West Wind and probably some shield transfers.

Time will tell how I fare.

Update:

Army Composition:

1 Lord + Champion
2 Nobles

6 Units of 6 Men with spears
1 Unit of 4 men with slings

This I already have. What I will need is some heads and shields to show that some of the units are elite and such.

Yes, sorry about that, I was only made aware of this Army Painters club yesterday, so I am still just in the process of assembling the first models. I will show some pictures ASAP.

Ehm, no idea, first unit is some dudes with spear and shields.

I have been told units of 6 men are the way to go, so I need some new movement trays I guess.

Some units of 6 men spear/shield
Some with new heads to make them elite
Some leaders.

I guess I will figure things out as I go.  ;D
