Yup, it is from Hasslefree, we live in splendid times indeed.  ;D 8)

BTW - the german word for "tramp stamp" is IMO more suited - "Arschgeweih" literary butt antlers - the deer head horns (antlers?) over the butt.  ;)

I started to paint my KS exclusive minis. First are two characters of one of my all time favourite movies!
Ross (The Manager), based on Walter Sobchak (John Goodman) from "The Big Lebowski"
and
Gary (The Misfit), based on Jeffrey Lebowski - The Dude (Jeff Bridges) from "The Big Lebowski"

I cannot stress the point enough that these are INCREDIBLE good sculpted minis. When taking them out of the box I was impressed, after painting them I am in AWE. Just check the small details, Walter's Bowling ball, The Dude's white mug (probably for his White Russian).  ;)
The casual posture of the Dude, slightly smiling. The liost goes on...

Don't know who sculpted them, but big thanks to him/ her!

Again I would love to see a good resin cast of all the Zombicide minis!

More detailed:

Lea, based on Wichita (Emma Stone) from "Zombieland" and
Ralph, based on Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) from "Zombieland"

Again the minis are way better as expected from the cheap plastic look.

Title: Re: Agis Zombie postings - "zombiefied" Police car
Post by: Agis on September 14, 2014, 04:56:05 PM

Since you can drive cars in some Zombicide missions I thought it only fitting to "zombiefy" a Police car.  ;)

A (slightly too big) die cast cheap Police car. The lower part was sprayed matt, after that I applied some weathering to give the car the Zombie right feel. Next time we drive in style over the game board!

2nd Hero - Batman

Again a very nice Knight Models sculpt of the Batman - Dark Knight movie adaption. Bit tricky to paint since Batman is mostly black in the movies, only his utility belt stands out. For Zombicide I will use the “Eagle Chaz, the american hero” card.

It is a Star Wars Empire logo.

Josh has a certain similarity with a guy from my "real life" work.

He mostly wears some cool "nerdie" T-Shirts, one shows Vader lightning a cigarette with his lightsabre, so I painted the Josh dude with a similar Empire shirt!  ;)

Another painted Zombicide mini, this time the mad Padre from the Season 2  Adrian Smith Special Guest Box together with Bones.
The Padre was very difficult to paint since most of the front Details were just too soft, a solid resin or metal cast would be a real Blessing for These otherwise fantastic miniatures.

A good opportunity to get them painted by a real master: Simon Bradley of stonecoldlead. Sometimes I just give me a real treat and get minis painted by others.

As you can see I was NOT disappointed, Simon is simply one of the best painters around. Similar in style to Tom Weiss or Ruben Torregrosa. The pic below shows the Island survivors in the way I am going to use them:

As usual I detailed the bases a bit, Simon could have done it also, but I am strange in this part, it only is MY mini if I paint at least some of it. In addition I can make sure that it really fits in color to the rest of my minis.

A lot more pics on my website: http://www.adpublishing.de/html/postapocalyptic.html  (scroll down a bit)

A bit above (P4) you can see the 1/43 Eaglemoss Collection Tumbler un modified out of the box.

The model was perfect as it was, but somehow I needed to repaint some parts, so some dark grey added on the top parts of the Tumbler, some edge highlights and a very light and soft weathering.

Thanks!True, but since  I was not in the 1st KS I never got him.
And I am not willing to pay the outrageous ebay prices that were called after the KS.

So - hint, hint - if anybody wants to sell a Sheldon mini, I am willing to up to 25,00 €.
;)

Studio Miniatures do or are about to do a not Sheldon. He's bound to be lot cheaper than the Zombicide one .

I participated in the Studio Minis KS to get him.
Got my pledge but the not Sheldon is still missing.  :(

The problem with the SM heroes is that they are fine minis by themselves but are a head smaller than Zombicide minis.  >:(
I have to check out the still missing Not Sheldon however, maybe he is a bit taller.  ;)

And here we go, my first Zombicide Card.

With Season 3 of Zombicide we have almost all the skills that my take on Batman in the post apocalyptic Zombicide world needs. To make him truly heroic I went for the Ultimate Survivor way. So 2 skills right from the start and experience cards for each skill gained.

The Dreadnought walker skill is a nice way to represent the Batsuit, mere walkers are not able to scratch the mighty suit! The no guns rule comes from castlesandcooks.com. Quote: “"If Batman would equip a gun, he doesn’t. He won’t even carry guns – so if Batman finds a gun while searching, he just leaves it. That also means he won’t even pass it along to another survivor because he’s the goddamn Batman."

Yes it is a harsh rule but IMO fitting to Batman. The starting Pair of Knuckles compensates it. Note - The Knuckles are part of the suit and do not take any card slot, Batman can still be equipped with another Melee weapon! In addition Batman will only take Knuckle related experience cards from the Ultimate Survivor box.

At level orange you have to choose if the dark crusader gets a free Melee Action or the very powerful Barbarian skill.

At red you have to choose if the Bat hits better, gets stronger or tougher. Have fun!!

Chief Underhill is FDGC Chief. You get him to know at the end of a nice sidequest in Arkham Knight. After  Scarecrow forced a mass evacuation of Gotham City by threatening to detonate a chemical bomb on Halloween night, the Firestation 17 unit went to try and put out a fire. However, the firefighters truck ended up stopped by rioters, and each member of the station ended up held hostage. Batman rescued every Firemen afterwards.

I even created a fitting Z card for him:

The mini is Dan from the Rue Morgue Box, his stat card is also the same, I just added the Fire Axe.

More on my website - including cards for Batman, Commisioner Gordon and Arrow.

Thanks folks!

And - some Berserker Zs!

I will use them as Arkham inmates that went way too wild after a Joker Titan formula infusion...

Some Season 2 Toxic Zombies together with the Joker (from Knight Model).

I am planning to use the Joker as a Necromancer using the Black Plague Spawn deck.

Another idea, why not paint the Black Plague Zs as White Walkers from Game of Thrones?

Finally came around to finish the guy.
My wife and I recently showed Zombicide to some friends.
Since they all loved it and all also like Breaking Bad it was only logical to give him some paint...

Once per year I treat myself with painted minis from the incredible talented Simon Bradley. This time he painted some Zombicide minis for me, the 1st to show is Sheldon.
All the rest is painted by me.

Great collection.  J wasn't aware of a lot of those miniatures. The BBT ones are great.  My favourites are the Big Lebowski ones. I need a Walter!

Great looking additions to your collection :-*
But I afraid I'm totally going to steal your joker zombie idea!
I'm nearing the end of painting season 2 myself and am running out of colour ideas for all the regular zeds in suits... hmmmm may even expand on your idea with a two-face & riddler. If I can pluck up the courage I may even attempt a green stuff jobby and do a mad hatter too.
As always buddy, your work is most inspirational

Agis, kumpel! This is all rather amazing eye candy that inspires me to get cracking on my own models  ;)

You had a diecast NYD Police car in the thread, what scale was it as you mentioned it's too large? I'm working on a gaming board using World Works Games buildings and want to add vehicles to the mix so am curious about the ratio on die cast models into 32mm gaming scale  :?

Cheers

Thanks Agis! That's a 1:43, I think that 1:50/1:55 works better with 32mm (28mm Heroic).

Look forward to more painted minis from you soon  ;D

Super speed painting for some Season 1 Zombicide Zs.

And...
Do you remember the  twin brothers and hitmen for the Juárez Cartel? Leonel and Marco Salamanca (commonly known as "The Cousins") ended pretty bad in season 3 of BB. The above models have a certain similarity, so I only decided to paint them a bit in the way they appeared in the series.
