Title: Piece of land
Post by: pocoloco on August 04, 2014, 04:47:31 PM
Unfortunately no new property in 1:1 scale but yet another try in terrain making through a small project. This time no teddy fur involved and end result looks much better than that blunder  ::)

So I guess this can be defined as some sort of walled corral or whatever, fit maybe for sheep, goat and such?

Anyhoo, here's two pics:

Everything is mounted on clear plastic base, walls are from Airfix kit, earth patches are simply wood filler and turf and such are static grass etc by different manufacturers.

Really cool terrain piece. Could see that working for a number of periods and scenarios. The soil came out nicely and has a realistic texture and coloration.

Many thanks gentlemen.

I did try to keep it general enough so it could be useful in VBCW setting and also in SCW (I am thinking of Asturias campaign) and why not also for earlier periods too.
