I know, I know, it's just that the soviets are just so bloody easy to field, they are simple simon to paint up....

I'm starting a Soviet force for much the same reasons. Which manufacturer(s) are you using? Nice start btw.

Would you be interested in obtaining some more to bolster your ranks?

I have one box Warlord Games' plastics, T-34 from Waffenkammer and metal WLG Mortar and MG. /shameless plug
