Got time at last to paint up some of the new Irish figures. The website will be going live any day now :)

If the Irish are anything to go by I think by the time Bill has finished, Footsore are going to have one of the best, if not the best range of Dark Age figures out there.
I find it exciting to think that the Irish are just the start, and there are Anglo Saxons, Skraelings, Welsh, Scots and more planned for the future. I love this period and Bill's work, so I will be buying them up as they gradually come out, my wallets going to take a massive hit!
Just hope the other DA releases will have as much variety as the Irish are having.

Yeah, that really would be amazing and go a go a long way in helping me source as much variation in miniatures that fit well together as I'm doing Hastings at Salute next year for the Lance and Longbow Society.

Thanks for the great feedback chaps. For each range I plan to have 16 variants for each basic warrior type, so yes I'll be spoiling you ;) lol

I was looking at the site this morning. Looks good.
Nice to get a good look at all the figures you have sculpted so far. The Anglo Saxons look great, can't wait for a UK supplier so I can buy up those fryd for the Anglo Danish I'm currently working on.

The Skraelings look great! Are you planning more variant sculpts? You had mentioned making 16 variants for basic troops, and so far there are 8 warrior and 4 archer variants.
