I just read about the 1915 Singapore Mutiny where mutineouis sepoys fought it out with British officers, civilian volunteers andFrench/Russian/Japanese Marines. Rather exotic action I would say. Question is if I can find these in my leadpile or not.Therefore grateful for any advice on the Sepoy uniform.

Not sure about that, I only read that there were captives from the "Emden" that were present in the barracks when the mutineers attacked

I got my sea raiders mixed up ,Von Luckner was 1916-17,in a sailing ship.

I believe this to be the uniform from a picture I saw in Goog;e books,it was a bengali unit. those this be the 23rd punjabs it looks exactly like it.

As far as I understand it serms to be the turban that is the biggest difference depending on from what area the unit is recruited

There were a dozen authorised turban types in the Armies of the Raj:
