I wasn't sure where to post my train station as I plan to use it in both Pulp and Back of Beyond games and I also need to build up some cred with the railroad folks. But I figured it would mostly service my Pulp minis - so here it is. It is one of the great Plasticville buildings I first learned from Grimm's Pulp site. Sorry for the normal crappy pictures (I gotta get a new camera!). It really looks better than these pics appear - I swear lol

Here is the Prof waiting on a train (Cue the music "I'm not waiting on a lady, I'm just waiting on a friend")

And a more "Hollywood" shot

Really cool building! Excellent as a main objective for a scenario.
-
nice building !
do you have the railroad track already ?
-
Nice one, Lon! That's a very useful piece of terrain. ;)

Thanks for the nice comments folks. I will be expanding on this theme. A coal bunker is in the works and perhaps a water tower. Tufoo, I do have a little track but not enough. It came with a $10 train I picked up at a toy store sale. They have it back again but now it is $39. If it goes below $20 I may buy another for the cars and track but I am going to consult with some of the rail experts here first.

Really nice work: I am going to have to give that line a closer look!
By the way: where is that explorer from? I can't seem to place him.

It's Prof. Witchheimer:

or....if you make a dock the same height at the platform, it could be a harbormaster/boating house/wharf kind of thing.

Pistolpete,
You read my mind. This coal bunker is probably more likely to show up at one of my tropical trading posts to service my tramp steamer.

What a great idea!

Here is a WIP of a water tower that I am building to go with my train station (and that will probably show up in various South China Sea and North Pacific trading ports)

A painted version to follow.

I'm going in for a back procedure tomorrow. So, I thought that I better get my finished water tower up before the pain (and the painkillers o_o o_o) take over my life for a bit. I am pretty pleased on how this rusty bit of kit turned out. Here is the tower itself.

Here it is with my Station (including some of the great Slug Industries luggage) and my coal bunker.

As I wrote earlier this tower is likely to show up in my tropical trading ports in Palau, Yap, or the Celebes.
