Zealot miniatures will be doing a dungeon furniture/terrain kickstarter come 30 sept.
Some examples of their work can be seen here.
Doors, porticullis, fountain, portals, books and the like. Looks interesting. Doors are double width and single width if you know what I mean.

Thanks for the heads up...I just placed a big order with Thomarillion, but I'll keep my eye on this. Between HQ, DS, my current stuff and the Thomarillion order I should be set. But I may buy in and get a couple of small sets or something.
Some of the pics look pretty good on their FB page.
-
Interesting to see what else they offer and how they make the pledges. Hopefully they will be pick & choose options rather than all pre-determined "sets".
I quite like the fountain but have no need for more doors or such.
-
More pics on the actual site.
Doors, bones, books, wells and well demon, traps (spikes and rolling ball) portcullis. More to come I'm sure.

Thanks for the heads up - love this sort of stuff. Nice to see someone making bones besides skulls.
-
Zealot seem to be using Facebook as the main discussion channel :(
But do have an active/up-to-date thread on the "Ye Olde Inn" HQ forum

Looks fantastic, thanks for sharing! I'll definitely keep an eye out for this. Love the traps, bones, books, fountain... I think my wallet just cried lol
-
Seems that 3D spell effects, monster lairs and furniture (intact and ruined) will be included in the KS pledges. The team behind Zealot seem to be open to considering ideas for pieces (especially if those pieces will support anything in the HQ/AHQ domain including the published fan scenarios and expansions)
-
Have not gone to links or FaceBook - are these 15/18 or 20 or 25/28/32 mm sized pieces, please?
Ah, :( 30mm size (size is not a scale) so no joy there.
Could be very nice for those playing with larger miniatures.
Gracias,
Glenn
-
Or you could pretend they are Ogre Catacombs ;)
-
Renders of several new pieces shown on the "Ye Olde Inn" link, Pillars, Shrines and such plus more discussion of what else is to come. Still open to ideas for other pieces.
-
I'm definitely anxious for this stuff...it's one I'll probably buy into. Stuff like the stairs, pillars etc. all look good. I haven't noticed--- is this planned plastic/resin/pvc?
-
Resin I think. That's what zealot primarily deal with
-
From the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/zealotminiatures?ref=ts&fref=ts
FREE SKULLS SPRUE TO ALL THOSE WHO LIKE THE *ZEALOT MINIATURES FB PAGE*. IF WE MAKE IT TO 1500 LIKES Everybody who likes the Zealot Facebook page, will get a free skulls sprue (you already have the free bones sprue ;)) added to any KS pled... See More
That should attract the GW crowd... Or a C&D letter from them, surely that is there IP by now. ;D
Some pretty cool extra stuff in There now.
(For some reason autocorrect change there to Hubert?!)
-
I'm very interested in the stairs...can always use more stairs! Still waitin' on this sucker to launch. Thanks for bringing this back up.
-
And it's still 2weeks away.
I don't think I mentioned before in this thread but just to let people know I have sold some terrain pieces to zealot before which are in the shop (a long time ago) nothing of it appearing on the kickstarter (I think) but just getting that out there.
-
This one is due to start within the next few hours........
-
Just waiting for kickstarter to give it the go ahead.
-
Cant wait to see how this turns out. I just got some stuff from dark art studios but i can always use more dungeon furniture. Has anyone from the USA ordered from zealot before im curious what there shipping charges are
-
Still not up that I can see.
-
Yep, waiting patiently (as is a buddy or two...).
-
Looks like this is going live tomorrow. Should be interesting.
-
Hurrah!
-
It's live, I've gone in with an Early Bird pledge (although it only means early shipping rather than discount in this case). Looks fantastic!
-
Looks good, but I have to say the KS design is pretty horrid. The levels are a bit confusing, the "gold coin" system is rather silly. This really should have been simplified. I'll probably get in at the Classic crawl level later in the month.
-
Agreed. I'm still not sure if I've paid for a bunch of doors and furniture, or whether I also get 10 'gold coins' as well. Or if I have to swap something out to get the coins lol
-
Actually I think the gold coin aspect is really good. It allows people to build their own pledges around the pre-designed Heroquest based sets.
Where the swap is offered, you get the doors by default unless you opt to swap them out for gold instead. The £38 Dungeon Critter pledge gets the pieces shown (Portcullis/chests/traps/table/stairs/skulls/bones) plus all level 1 free stretch goals. You swap out all the doors for 18 gold to spend and it already has another 10 gold included so you get 28 gold in total to buy add-ons.

Looked up the KS yesterday and put off deciding what to pledge because I have no freaking clue what the heck is at what level. What's up with the coins? How many coins do what?
Maybe I was just tired from a very long day at work and when I'm fresher tomorrow I can figure things out.
-
This looks great! Excited about this one, quality scenery is always a welcome addition.
I also like the Gold coins part of this, nice that I can swap out the doors which I have almost no use for and can then be sure to use them to grab any pieces that I like.
Postage to me in the US isn't too painful either. Thumbs up from me.
-
I understand the concept but it's horribly laid out. And they need to simply have two or three pledges, and some "all coin" options - none of the "swap your doors for..." stuff. They're endlessly complicating the system when it comes time to pack and ship stuff. That's a little silly.
I'm still going to pledge, no question, but some companies need to lose the desire to cater to every single possible whim/arrangement when selling products - particularly when seeking KS pledgers/buyers. Just not a well laid-out design regarding the information. :D
-
After being on holiday for the weekend with no internet I finally get to pledge. Unfortunately I missed any early ones but they just seem to be a month early rather than money off which suits me anyway. I like he gold coin system myself but there does seem to be a lot going on in all the images. Quite distracting.
-
Wow, cool find thanks beefcake. Not sure on the doors myself, but all the dungeon clutter looks great. Perfect for some monster slaying, and quite fiddly to build yourself.
Cheers

I'm still hesitating. I like some of the sets, but there are not a heap of "bonus" stuff, and I may be better off getting the gold coin option. At that point I might as well simply wait for normal production. I get behind Kickstarters for two reasons: 1) small fledgling company trying to launch a product, 2) free bonus materials.
They're not struggling on the project at the moment, so I may simply wait for retail availability. Really liking some of the individual pieces they're coming out with.
-
The latest guillotine looks great.

A quick check of the web store shows that the normal pieces are a bit pricey. It seems to be good value.

Good point, I'll take a look. It's on my favourites list right now, so I'm still deciding. I've just got so much stuff coming from HQ/Dungeon Saga that the basic sets they have available provide me with too many copies of stuff (bookcases etc.). I'll definitely compare prices, cheers.
-
Wow, some of these sculpts are amazing. For people who haven't seen them, here's one of my favorites:
Stackable library bookcases :-*

3 days left on this kickstarter:

Wow. I think those bookshelves just convinced me to back this.
Edit: Nevermind. The pledge ladder gives me a headache. I just don't have the energy to bother with a fantasy arbitrage system just to get some toys.
I assume these are going to be for sale after the KS?
-
I jumped on the first day and have only been checking in every once in a while. There's a huge amount of cool stuff up for offer, so much in fact that I get a headache trying to figure out what I want. It's definitely a good time to be a miniature gamer.
-
I promised I would not spend any more money. Is lying to yourself still lying?
Stuff looks to good to pass up
