It's likely I'll finish this project sooner than a lot of other ones I have queued up, so I thought I'd set up a single page for it all to update here. Some you may remember were posted already but with other unrelated figures. All of it can be found, with many more pictures, here: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/search/label/Caribbean (http://flashman14.blogspot.com/)
First is the new stuff:
The Zombies: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/2014/08/25mm-west-wind-zombies.html (http://flashman14.blogspot.com/2014/08/25mm-west-wind-zombies.html)
The Doctor's Assistants (From Island of Doctor Mereaux range in Gothic Horror): http://flashman14.blogspot.com/2014/08/25mm-west-wind-gothic-horror-island-of.html (http://flashman14.blogspot.com/2014/08/25mm-west-wind-gothic-horror-island-of.html)

Madam Magombi: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/2012/09/25mm-west-wind-mama-mogumbi-voodoo.html (http://flashman14.blogspot.com/2012/09/25mm-west-wind-mama-mogumbi-voodoo.html)

I have some Brigade Games Caribbean Empires stuff to add in and then the Voodoo Warriors from Old Glory's Pirate Range and that will comprise the Forces of Darkness. The heroes, colonial police will follow to oppose them.
Stay tuned ...!

I realize this is a horror thread but you can cause serious harm to children with this.

Agreed! They look a bit rough unpainted, but slap some color on them, and they just come to life. Great range and very nice painting!
-
Nice to see some pics of stuff not depicted on WWs page!
And nicely painted, too!

Two more packs completed from West Wind:
The Lady Doctor and Staff:

Ah! Flashman14! One of my long time favorites when I first started poking around the interwebs for Mini-related stuff.
I'm so glad you are still about, and putting out excellent stuff!
Wonderful characters.
-
Supervike! There's a name I haven't seen in a long while and I'm very glad to do so again. I hope things are well with you.
Watch this space. I'm two highlights away from another fours figs this weekend and then I think less than a week away from the Colonial Police.
Trying to clear the decks for what I think will be a cool Napoleonic project.
-
Hi Flashman, what an awesome project. Been following your blog since I came across it looking for some Napoleonic stuff.
What rules are you going to use for your Caribbean project?
-
There are rules specifically for these figures called Realm of Terror - which is a supplement to the Gothic Horrors/Vampire Wars set.
I may use Rippers, maybe EoTD, or Chaos in Carpathia, All would work - and that may be the source of a good article too. (Play the same scenario under a pair of different rule sets).
-
Last of the character figures here:

I really like this pack a lot - Father Dupont being my favorite.
A squad of nine Colonial Police are up next and that's the last of the good guys. More to come!
-
Is that set still available from Westwind? I don't seem to be able to find it...

Ah, thanks! I had not thought of looking under Zombies lol
-
Amazing project. I really like the West Wind ranges too. They get a lot of flack but I think they're great.
I'd love to see a battle report from this game. Please post one if you get the chance.
-
More beautiful additions to a superb collection.

An almost nine month break from painting ended this weekend. Finally finished the Colonial Police rounding out the last of the good guys:

Great stuff :)
IDEM!
Looking forward to see the AARs and the river boat! ;)
-
The Old Glory Voodoo Warriors are done! I mention this all could easily be turned into a Lovecraftian Horror game with minimal fuss.

I also added the skull paint to Magumbi's priests and redid Savoodie's skull makeup that I'll add in later.
Thanks for looking! More to come.

Excellent project and minis all round!
Thanks

-
Quite a mob.
How many different sculpts are in there?
-
Just four. I didn't do anything in terms of bending arms or anything.

-
OK, thanks - it was hard to figure out from the picture alone - different angles, some hid behind others, etc.
Looks really good in numbers, even with that limited number of alternative poses! :)
-
All together now:

I mention this all could easily be turned into a Lovecraftian Horror game with minimal fuss.
There's a nice voodoo-themed adventure for the Call of Cthulhu RPG called "The Plantation" (in CHA23110 Mansions of Madness) that can be easily converted to a tabletop game. ;)

Thanks dinohunter - good stuff!

Thanks dinohunter - good stuff!
Flashman, your're welcome!
And please keep posting that GREAT stuff of yours! ;)

I already had a complete game - sans some terrain, but couldn't resist folding in these Haitian revolutionaries to the mix.
