I got the opportunity to play my first game of Bolt Action last night. Thanks to Bill for providing the models and Randy for providing the opponent.
Overall, I liked the game. It reminded me a lot of old 40K. I like the activation mechanic and how moral works. I think the shooting could be streamlined a little, but need to play a few more games before I come up with any ideas on that.
I've posted a more detailed write up on my blog. http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2014/08/bolt-action-first-game-summary.html (http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2014/08/bolt-action-first-game-summary.html)
