Hey All,

Has anyone around here had a go with this kit? And if you have, would you be so kind as to take a picture of it with a 15/18mm figure for scale purposes?

I would like to know the scale compared to 28mm - it is tagged as 1/72

I have held it in my hands. It's 1/72ish (the crew are little piggies, so who knows?). It is definitely a kit for the more experienced modeller. All the teeth on the tracks for example are separate pieces.
But that aside it is a fantastic kit and on my to do list as well.

Cheers for the insight.
The only real scaling feature is the hatches and the maxim barrels.
If the former is a little over sized for 15/18mm, then I'm okay with that, or can work around it.
The latter? - If they need to be 1-pdr or 2-pdr machine cannons, I'm hardly going to feel bad about that.
I've wanted one of these since I first saw it a fair few years ago, and in terms of being for 'experienced' types? I've not taken on a really difficult or time devouring project in years.
And this is the flagship of my fleet.
I think it's time.

15/18 mm seems to be just about right
28mm reveals the scale of ripp-off on how much warzone's grizzly tank is unoriginal

on the other hand, there is also this (borrowed, THX) interweb picture

that shows even a GW Terminator is not oversized (in comparison to a WF greatcoat). The vision slits in the other pictures do no look to small for 28mm, and if we think of the size of the hatches in certain interwar and early WW1 tanks, the beast might be useful even for 28mm. The only real problem I see lies with the Maxim MG

I do not see why a bit of work on hatches and weapons should not produce a perfectly useful model for some steampunk interwar or VSF setting
