Does anybody have a copy of these rules? I joined the yahoo group a few weeks ago but there doesn't seem to be any activity on the group at the moment and I'm still waiting for an admin to give access to the files.

Not sure what this is..... ???
If it is the 'ancient' (1987?) White Dwarf article about WHFB at sea, I do have that...?

Thanks Pijlie - gratefully received.
@Mason, they are a set of fan made rules from the early 2000s. You can have a look at some info here http://www.spiritofthegame.org.uk/warhammerahoy/ (http://www.spiritofthegame.org.uk/warhammerahoy/) Thanks for the offer of the 'ancient' rules but if they are 'All the little Dwarves love a Sailor' then I have them already

There's a site too http://www.spiritofthegame.org.uk/warhammerahoy/about.htm (http://www.spiritofthegame.org.uk/warhammerahoy/about.htm)
Oh never mind..... lol

Aha!
Now I am with you.
I wish that I had known of these rules a few years ago when I had the urge to paint or build various fantasy ships.
The more human ones all ended up incorporated into my Krappefortt Docks pieces.
The only one left is the Wood Elf 'Living Ship', which is destined to become another piece of scenery one day....

....whenever I get around to it, that is.

I'll have to dig into this some more.

Well at the moment the plan for the next annual Oldhammer gathering at the Foundry is to run a large 28mm naval game using either these rules or the ones from the old GW Generals Compendium. Plenty time to dust off the old ships and give them a re-refit :D

Aha!
I am going to try and get along to this next year, so an overhaul on this beastie and the crew may well be in order.
:D
I can see Bibbles having a go at this too.
Watch this space.
