Title: Street Justice - a Pulp Alley AAR
Post by: Wolf Girl on September 08, 2014, 04:32:37 AM
Mikaila and I tested out another new Pulp Alley scenario. The leagues are helping/stopping some local thugs commit crimes. It was a lot of fun! Here are some pics....

We both had a lot of fun and Mikaila ended up winning the scenario with the Major Plot point and one minor. I ended the scenario with two minor plot points, including the Experience reward. I think I lost because I forgot to wear my fez!!!!  lol lol

Dad's new scenarios are lots of fun to play. This one should appear in our next Pulp Alley book, Vice Alley.

Thanks

Thanks for the 8000 words and pics.. :-*

Yes, you lost because of the fez. I wear mine but it doesn't fit so either side can win.  lol

Something about that building with the covered archway always reminds me of the old Bogart film "The Petrified Forest"

I think Dad gets most of his terrain ideas from old Bogart movies.

I do love your terrain layouts. You seem to get so much onto a small space.

Hi W.G.

Nice pictures as always. the 3rd 1 down with the dog, the door of the building looks great, I expect you have already posted the answer somewhere but what did you make the door nails from and did you use wood varnish or paint on the door.

Thanks for the post, provides inspiration until I can break out the figures again.

Take care

Dad used this stuff called 'Puffy Paint'. I guess it is intended to use on t-shirts. He squeezed out small dots, one at a time, to make the door nails. Not quite as easy as it sounds.

Yes, we mostly use wood stain on the doors and stuff like that. There's a wee bit of dry brushing, but barely enough to notice.

Great looking table as always Mila! Is your terrain a 3' x 3' box that you set tiles into?

For Puffing paint ... check the Liquid Embroidery bottled paints for doing art work directly onto fabric. There types that Puff up some as they dry. I use it for Rivet heads... by dabbing tiny amounts in a line...wait a few minutes for it to surface dry then touch the tops (which are pointy from the dabbing) to flatten the "heads" of the rivets down for the final look of rivets.
