That's going to look awesome.  One thing that makes me regret choosing 54mm for my VSF is how well the smaller scales can represent huge areas so well.  Are those blocks made out of floral foam?  Or one of the crunchier insulation foams?

Yes it's insulation foam and some cork (from excellent french wine bottle;)) for the circular buildings... and few monopoly pieces too... for the scale you utilize 54mm miniatures ?? that must be spectacular .. o_o haveyou some pictures??

I love those boats and how the city really looks like a city and not just a building or two.  I've only just started my 54mm stuff:

I'm planning on doing a hollow earth motif for my VSF rather than going with Mars.  If I did Mars, I think i'd join you in 3mm.

I love that the boats can actually go under all the overhead structures.  That's really cool.

Somehow I saw the first post, and not the updates. Add to that, I'd had a bit of skepticism on the first piccies.

Once again, I should drummed off the forum! [Still think there should be a blushing cheeks emoticon...]

Those are REALLY fun! Well done!

I'm liking it, including using The Uncharted Seas ships in a new setting.
