I have been meaning to have a crack at Dead Mans Hand for ages, I bought the rules when they were first released but what with all the other projects they were rather sidelined.

However, that changed this weekend when I speed painted eleven assorted miscreants in between preparing for Partizan and suchlike.

Nice work on those varmints. :D

A toe in the Hand is worth … well, it's worth doing, by the look of it.

That's a good looking gang of hombres you've got there.
I had my first game of DMH tonight, using somebody elses figures. What a great game. I'll definitely be getting hold of a set of rules. I have stacks of figures already with a couple of gangs ready to go and a few buildings, having got them for The Rules With No Name.

Great result!
:-*
There are a few figures there that I would like myself.

Mason - if it's the posse figures, I have an unopened blister of them that I'm willing to part with.

Thanks chaps.
I have done a report of the initial games we played last night. Four in all in a three hour gaming session! Two of them were very quick and dirty!

Looking good. :D
It's a great game.

It's been a while since I last painted anything for Dead Mans Hand, but this weekend I painted a mixed bag of Black Scorpion Tombstone figures.

Most of them good, a few bad and at least one of them down-right effing ugly.

They look good. Kind of blue theme throughout.

Splendid.

Glad to see that you are still in love with the Old West.

How is Dead Man's Hand compared to Shoot and Skeedadle, Fistful of Lead etc.?
-
I would like to know too
I love ffol's activation

Nick, I'll try to pick up a copy of DMH at some point. From what I've seen on the interwebs DMH can be played on a smaller table, and much quicker than SnS.
-
Those are some great looking western figures. Keep sharing!

Thanks chaps. I've never played any of the alternates mentioned so could not comment on their comparison.
