Title: In the bogs of Courland: By Fire and Sword AAR

Whole AAR in my blog.

The evil Swedes advanced against my gallant Curonians and forced themselves over the contested bridge.
(Swedes painted by my opponent on right.)

I defended with Curonians with a deployment wholly on the defending side of the bridge. In the end the light cannon knocking my troops to flight, together with determined Swedish charges over the bridge dislodged my rather fragile force.

The process did take my opponent five whole rounds and his reiters were once pushed bloodily back though. Curonian lehnsfahn feudal troopers managed to overachieve while the musketeers with their salvo did not.

Nice game and nice to try a small force for change - I have usually fielded larger hosts before.

I had a blast playing the swedes. There is a difference between professional soldiers and rebelling militia trash  ;)
Some more pictures of my heroic swedes below.
