Wow :-* :-*
-
Madness! love it!
-
Looks great! And I love the lighting!
-
Your creation is a WONDER...BEAUTIFULLY WELL DONE!
-
Simply stunning!
-
woah!
-
Awesome. I assume this is scaled to your recent LOTR stuff? Any pictures of it in play?
-
Looks impressive!
3'x3'x3' is massive. :o :o
I'd still like to see a miniature placed on it to truly grasp the scale of it.

Yes indeed.
Haven't manage to play it just yet, will do soon though.
I'll get some more pics up with models shortly :)

I'll try and get some more pics tonight with models placed :)

:o That is truly magnificent sir.
Are you able to position figures actually on the stairs (perhaps with little wedges underneath) or only on the landings? I ask as I've been thinking of building some 3D pieces and am unsure how to resolve that little conundrum.
-
Wow. That is awesome. Have you tried different colour lighting effects? I wonder what it would look like with blue or orange cellophane over the lights. Can't wait to see it with a mini on top.

Many thanks :)
Yes I had planned to make 'mini wedges' as you suggest but have not got that bit done as yet... I will be strongly favouring large amounts of blu-tac too!

Cheers mate :)
I have only done the single orange flame effect pieces... Doing other colours had not occurred to me though it could be done, the flame filters are removable.

Jaw dropping. So wonderful! :o :o :-* :-*

Thanks, yes its scaled for LOTR 28mm figures.
To give you a little perspective the causeway stair sections are 50mm wide.
No pics in play yet, but will hopefully have some up soon :)

That is insanely beautiful!!! I wish I could find better words to describe how amazing that piece is, because 'WOW' just doesn't cut it.

Holy cripes! Awesome stuff Mate! Curious, what part of New Zealand was this filmed in?? :D
-
Absolutely insane but then again if I had your skill I would have done it lol
The fundamental flaw with all of these is 'why did the dwarves carve out so much and where did they put the bits?'
Sweet result never the less.
-
It's great to see some great Lord of the Rings stuff being made again! Inspiring indeed!
Thanks

Brilliant :-*

Man, that is one nice piece of scenery! You'll have tons of fun using it!

:o :-*
-
Indeed. Wow. 8)
-
Totally bonkers.
Fantastic. :-* :-* :-*
-
Wow! Just, Wow! :o :-*
-
Brilliant! :-*
I guess you could put some glass on top and use it as a coffee table if is too big to store in a cupboard!

Oh, I imagine that these stairways were built to make an existing cavern more accessible, making good use of the spoil from places they did dig out.
Yes, I think about this stuff, too.

Here's a couple more pics ... with models on for those that requested it...

That makes it so much more impressive!
-
Damn that is massove!
Don't give the party much of a chance!
-
I pull my hat, Sir! That is some fine work there!
-
Great work, I like the comment on your blog about making Balin's tomb next - sounds like the start of some epic modular-moria-project.
Looks good with the lighting, when not gaming you could always use it as a cornerlamp. Or put a bit of glass on top - feature coffee table. ;)
-
Amazing :)
-
Wow, I didn't think it could get any more impressive, but you managed it!
I hate the overuse of the term, but it truly deserves the label "epic"!
-
I was impressed before, but seeing it with the minis is just mind-blowing! Incredible work... :-*
-
Thanks again guys, its really is heart warming to get your kind feedback. Much appreciated.
Doing my bit too, to get the game going again locally, did some demo try out games at the local club:

Stunning work... I posted it here too: http://en.reddit.com/r/TerrainBuilding/comments/2hhazh/durins_causeway/

Great work, that's how you grow a game!
