I am finally getting on top of my Dark Ages painting - Goths finished, Huns finished and early Byzantines/Late Romans mostly done bar basing. Started off aiming to do battle of Catalaunian Plains and then got interested in the Gothic War in Italy - hence the Byzantines. Here are the respective command groups - I like big bases!

Love the colours and patterns you've used there. A lot brighter than the usual mix of whites and browns and the better for it.
Good work fella :D

Thanks for the comments everyone. I wanted my Huns and Goths colourful - they liked decoration and display.

Well done! :D

Gorgeous!
Can you advise which manufacturer's you used? I think I recognize a couple of Musketeer Minis in there.

Hi Huevans, all the figures except the "merlinnesque" one on the Goth base (which is Gripping Beast) are Foundry. I have some Musketeer archers in my Goth army but most of my Dark Age figures were bargain buys. I was able to get a lot of Foundry minis at a reasonable price.

Would love to see the rest of the collection !
