Title: Pulp Alley and Fatale

I have been neglecting Pulp Alley recently.

However,  I've recently stumbled across the Brubaker/Phillips graphic novels, ahem, comics,  Fatale.

It is gorgeously bleak stuff - Noir/Horror.

The central character, Josephine, would fit perfectly into a PA campaign spanning medieval, wild west, prohibition,  WW2, 70s and modern. And all the time pursued by a seemingly human tentacle monster and Cultist followers.

Perfect!!

I have all but 70s and modern.

Now for a suitable Lovecraft figure and various Jo's ...

Oh yes, I've seen those. It has a cool Lovecraft feel. You're right, it would definitely make a cool setting for Pulp Alley games.

I think one of the reasons Pulp Alley works so well for this kind of thing is because Dad really designed the game to help players tell their stories.

Pulp Alley is granular in the right places so the game mechanics don't get in the way, they actually encourage the storytelling.  ;)

Agree on all counts WG. The fact that I could dig out my War of the Roses, Outlaws, Gangsters and WW2 Germans and theme it under one set of  excellent rules is, for me, a huge plus. :)
