I just heard about the upcoming KS, but I can't find any in-depth reviews, particularly ones that differentiate the game from other skirmish games.
While 2nd edition isn't 1st edition, for those new to SA, I highly recommend anyone supporting this KS to post reviews of the game for those unfamiliar with the system. BoardGameGeek *had* two reviews, but they're no longer there. I've browsed threads on this forum, but they look to be for those who already enjoy the game.
I'd recommend stats for the Cthulhu Wars base set miniatures. I'll link this thread to the CW KS Comments to generate interest. Good luck during the KS!

EDIT: Good work with the reviews! Dakka's usually for skirmish wargames, but you might want to start and monitor a KS thread for SA in their "News and Rumors" sub-forum! : http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/forums/show/6.page

I need to do some serious overdue housekeeping on my blog but there are some good items there also....
I am thinking for October I may host a Strange Aeons day to promote it at Anthem Games in Tampa.....

2nd Edition will have stats for the majority of the models featured in Cthulhu Wars, and I'm aiming to eventually release the few remaining ones through another supplement.
Also, there'll be a revised version of that demo pack coming soon.

Dakka definitely has folks interested in all things Cthulhu gaming related. I second the suggestion to get a thread there started and monitored.

Alas I did not invest in that KS, I didn't have the money to pop....*sigh*

Me neither, but I think they'll all be available eventually via Fenris?

I dunno about a full-on review, but I got into Strange Aeons having bought the rules out of curiosity after seeing what everyone else was doing.
I thought it would be a small project, maybe thirty minis or so would be enough.
It did not end there....
See my thread for what happened next.
I have used the rules for quite a few different settings and intend to use them for plenty more, they are so versatile and fun.
:D

Having not seen this thread I actually started a thread advertising next weeks Kickstarter campaign in the News and Rumors section of Dakka last night -

Once the KS kicks off, your presence on that thread will help. Folks seem to like when The Man fields their questions. Even checking it once every day or two would be a good thing if you can.

I shall add it to my list. Mike and I are attempting to work out some sort of shift system such that we can monitor all this stuff and still sleep!

Yeah, it is gonna be a fast busy ride, but hopefully it will be worth it for you guys.
You have a lot of fans who will help out on the various forums too, but a bit of a personal appearance always helps.

The shift system that Lidless describes usual involves me coming along late and agreeing...as I am doing now. I shall endeavor to get faster on the draw...Thanks all for doing what you can to spread the word. It is much appreciated!

Good job. We had a n00b question on the Dakka thread, so I linked them here. (:
How much will the Innsmouth box go for? Love the sculpts!

Boxes are $50 (CAD, so actually less for many of you), which is a smoking deal for this set, as the individual components ran $66 in previous packaging. And that figure doesn't even include the (brand new) Demagogue, or factor in that the Deep One could only be purchased by Cult members.

That and the cultists are in the running for me to buy....I was about to get the Hybrids and now I get a better deal out of that boxed set....the Cultists are duplicates mostly for me but works for Kulten as the hoods are different. The sledge guy is the main seller.
So, you making a pack of accessory weapons? Lop a hand off and add one holding X item like say a chainsaw or sword?

Now participating! Thanks again to everyone that's been over there singing our praises.

Alas, one-piece resin casts aren't as conducive to this as multi-part metal or plastic kits. We do have a couple of modular kits in mind, but those will have to remain closely-guarded secrets for the time being... :-X
Should also mention that the Canadian dollar started nosediving last week, which may prove to be good news for those of you not paying in Canuck Bucks.

SPILL IT! I WILL SEND NIGHT TERRORS YOU CAN'T IMAGINE! >:D
On a serious note, just a bit, which is good news as you said to some...just 90 cents to the dollar in exchange so not terrible. Personally, it is refreshing after getting bent over every time I order something from the UK. Between the postal rates and exchange rates, it really dampens the charm of buying online.
