My recent absence from this discussion doesn't mean I've abandoned the project - it's because we've recently moved to an oldish cottage that is somewhat

Any more news?
Seconded. :D

Well I managed to get away from house renovations last week while the place was rewired and then had new doors and windows fitted. I spent lots of time at the workshop but, alas, all that effort was spent on getting Forlorn Hope tooled up with lots of Fantasy Warriors for SELWG and his website:
http://www.forlornhopegames.co.uk/
Now his hunger for FW is sated, at least for now, I can at last think about making some moulds. Just got to decide which to do first. I have an idea what people want to I'll pick something from recently mentioend "wants"...

If I'd known you were going to read it. I'd have used a less esoteric word to help you out... :D

Does this mean the ratmen shooters are going to be back in stock? Only a friend was after some and ended up having to go and buy off Mirliton and they took ages in the post. And I think he needs more yet...
(Mind you, when they arrived, they appeared to be original 1990s blister packs...)
-
No SECS please, we're British.
lol
I'm joking of course, Scurv wants SECS Doug, so you'd better give him what he wants!

I am with you on that one doug sex for SECS is too high a price! Those SECS figs would be ace though. Give me enough variety to make a few squads. 2 different heavy weapons an officer type and a few chappies with shooters.
The ones that look like old RT imperial guard.
I've no idea what a RT Imperial guard is never mind what it looks like.... ???
Doug
-
The SECS troopers resemble the old Rogue Trader (RT) 40K Guardsmen Doug, and would make grand proxies. ;)
Wartechs are nicer though. :D
-
Yep, Wartechs. :D
Guys in helmets are the future..
-
Rogue Trader (RT) 40K Guardsmen
I know nothing of this strange language you speak apart from the fact that 40k to me is a type of game played by people with largely unpainted armies. Is this the one you're talking about? lol lol lol

Badass! :D

Still badass! :D
-
Mould-making re-commenced to day.... ;)
Doug
-
Now that's just teasing... ::) lol

Good news, Doug! ;D

Got the grandchildren staying at the moment so a bit occupied - took thewm up the road to Avebury this afternoon so no casting done today. Hopefully I'll get an hour or two tomorrow moring to run the new moulds and take some photos to reveal the latest batch that no-one will want.... :D

Looking forward to the Big Reveal… :D
-
One of my friends was digging at Avebury last year as part of his archaeology course. Interesting place. :D
Look forward to seeing the new releases.
-
Not grandkids. Foundry trainees! Get them to work! ;)
-
Ran the moulds this morning and have a set of each to clean up and photograph. Was forced into playing footie this afternoon and was delighted to triumph 20-17 in the sewcond game (I lost the first). I'm quite pleased with that. Ok, my opponent is only 6 but come on, he's big for his age... :D
Doug
-
I've seen some if those 6 year olds play. Dirty little blighters... ;)

Ok, I look forward to see the next releases. I already need to buy a good deal of the available models, so I have kind of mixed feelings. I want all the models I am currently missing in my collection, but at the same time I also like to eat and pay my bills.
I will be running a game of Nuclear Renaissance at a Danish convention next month. It will feature a Phagon cloning facility set for investigation by a mixed group of Imperial Inquisitors and Blood Angel Space Marines.

That sounds so cool! Please take plenty of pictures! :D
-
I sure will. Playtesting are set to start this weekend. So I might take some work in progress pictures there already :)

Here you go. Six more sets; each of two figures - £3.00 per set + postage:

3062 S.E.C.S Laser Rifle
(http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/CannonOlympus01/Games%20and%20Miniatures/Spacelords/SECS/3063s_zpsb2249edf.jpg)
3063 S.E.C.S. Heavy MG
(http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/CannonOlympus01/Games%20and%20Miniatures/Spacelords/SECS/3064s_zpsd9344ce3.jpg)
3064 S.E.C.S Heavy Laser
(http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/CannonOlympus01/Games%20and%20Miniatures/Spacelords/SECS/3065s_zpsd54343a5.jpg)
3065 S.E.C.S. Grenade Launcher
(http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/CannonOlympus01/Games%20and%20Miniatures/Spacelords/SECS/3067s_zps83df3701.jpg)
3067 S.E.C.S. Officers
I chose these rather than Wartechs or Bunkerbreakers because they are a small sub-range so they can all be moulded fairly quickly and also because I liked them. There's one set missing (the one you really, really want :D ) It's 3066 Rocket Launcher and it's missing because I can't find the masters. I've got the rocket launcher which could probably be used with the firing figure from 3065 because his grenade launcher is a separate casting so he could have the rl instead. However, I haven't had a close look to see if it would look appropriate. If Dirk happens to stop by, maybe he has more info on this set (3066).
That's it for now, folks.....
Full list is on Dropbox:

Oh Doug, you should have moulded some Wartechs... ::) lol
At least scurv will be a happy man. :D
I might need a couple of those though.. Hmm.

Mine finally made it across the seas and may I say they are excellent figs. Pisses all over the RT era imperial guard from a great height. (and most of the IG after too.) They scale up fine with the rest of my 28/32 mm figs as well.
That's good to hear - I'll send you much :-* :-* :-* love for your post.... :D
Doug
-
Absolutely, scurv! I've picked up most of the SECS and a whole bunch of phagons and civilian types for Rogue Trader-type gaming. They have that vibe better than anything else currently in production, imo, and Doug's casting is so crisp it'll barely take more than a stern glare to have them ready for undercoating 8)
Now, as for when I'll actually paint them... but I have lined them up on my desk and made pew-pew noises, which is almost the same, right? ::)
-
Doug, any word on the re-releases of the Cybertech Wartechs? ;)
-
I haven't done much of anything to do with miniatures for the last month (apart from playing with them of course) but there's a review of Spacelords by John Treadaway due this month that I hope will generate some sales which in turn will give me that spur to make some more moulds.
