And it's all fake!
I just finished my Masai warriors. This covers about 2/3 of this month's resolutions and finishes my African tribal warriors... sniff.
Anyway let's get on with the pics:

They are all 28mm Foundry Darkest Africa. I really love that range.
Here are some shield designs.

Yes, I'm too lazy to do the traditional sawtooth design. I reckon some Masai must also have been...
These were pretty fun to paint. Now all I have left is ten little explorers and a special bonus, then my Africa collection is done (well, truth be told there should be a single blister hiding somewhere, but this concerns clearing the old stock).
Next month, we're moving to a completely different continent...

Great painted minis and I like how the shields turned out.
Thanks for sharing.

They are nice figures, and beautifully painted.

Thanks.
I find that I really like these large shields with room for expression and a subject that doesn't attract heraldry otakus like roadkill...
I thought about buying more of the shields for other models, but Foundry doesn't list separate shields anynore. They'd probably sell some if I called them, but they're not listed.

They look great, I've been quite tempted by them before and this isn't helping :D
