Title: Plastic Soldier Company Army Sprays, Primer or Not???
Post by: Too Bo Coo on 03 October 2014, 03:49:55 PM
Hey All,

I cant seem to find any info, are the PSC Army Sprays a primer or just a color spray?  They're made by the Army Painter folks, but that doesnt necessarily mean anything.  Does any one know?

Cheers!

The cans don't mention the word primer.
PSC however do advise using them straight on plastic models:

This guy also sprays it directly onto bare models :

Yes, you can spray directly. I always use a dedicated (cheap) primer first, more out of habit then anything else.

I've used it as a primer/base coat on a lot of figures. It goes on quite lightly so it takes a few passes to get decent coverage. No problems with it yet and I've even used it on Bones
