Title: (COMMERCIAL) Praise for Midlam Miniatures
Post by: JollyBob on 04 October 2014, 09:13:08 PM
I hope this is the right board for this, if not mods please feel free to shift to somewhere more appropriate.

Basically, the title says it all.

I had been looking for a little scenic item for a bit, then stumbled across one on the Midlam website. After having a shufti round to make up a decent order, I also bought a few of the old Mega Minis line which Midlam now own.

What can I say? The figures are beautiful, practically no flash and so characterful I can scarecely credit they are the same that Mega Minis used to sell. The new painted versions on Midlam's site are exquisite too.

Other plus points are a damn quick turnaround (my order was with me in two days) and the fact that they are cheap as the proverbial chips.

Thank you for giving these lovely figures a new lease of life that they richly deserve, and for great service. I really hope I can get another order in soon, and that plenty other people follow suit. Have a look and see for yourselves:

Hi Bob

Thanks for the nice (unprompted) words, they made our day at Midlam Manor :)

We are trying, we hope to do more, and really appreciate the support!

All the best

Paul

sorry about resurrecting an old thread, I'd just like to add my praise. Just received my first order from them: the shipping was lightning fast (to here, to Hungary)

and the minis are beautiful. The pics on the website really don't do them justice, painted or unpainted.

Yes, I'll happily praise Midlam Miniatures. I've made purchases at the North East shows from them on more than one occasion, and have been in contact through email once - They were very swift in replying, and very helpful.

I'm in the process of painting some of their miniatures for my Frostgrave warband at the moment, in fact.
