Title: Citadel low walls
Post by: SgtPerry on 25 August 2008, 09:35:52 AM
I've several low walls from Citadel that I've never painted and finally I didn't use them anymore. As I was in need of walls I decided to paint them (finally!)

I did a very basic work :

A Sienna basecoat
A generous dry brush with Ochre
A dry brush mixing (ochre and unbleached white)
A light dry brush with unbleached white

Very nice. I like all the extra details like the geese etc. I also really like civilian figures in my games too. I think seeing them on the table brings a game to life.

Yes, they are an extra drain on time and resources, but when you have a top-notch set-up, they definitely add that little extra finishing touch :)

Nice, layout. The walls look rather big, are you using 28mm or smaller minis in that picture? (I use heroic 28 myself and still wonder if I should acquire some of those walls, or not)
