Title: Centauro B1 3d model in 6mm...
Post by: Arrigo on 13 October 2014, 06:03:44 PM
Well,

a couple of weeks ago I got crazy and asked a 3d modeler on shapeways if he was able to do 6mm Centauro B1 heavy armoured car (no one does... the old H&R models are pretty poor). I know 6mm is not a popular scale here but I think the effort of the modeler needs some rewards and advertisement. He also did a 1/220 version and probably he could rescale it.

Here is the (3d Render) result:

They are a bit pricey, but it is a rare model, and they are in FUD (probably if there is enough interest we can ask to have them in WSF too).

He have also asked for Ariete tanks...

Nice stuff. I am a fan of 6mm and the possibilities of 3D printing.
