Am looking at Perry Zouaves as a possible VSF choice. They are stuitably gaudy and there's so many groups they could be painted up as. However, I want my VSF troops to have weapons that are slightly closer to the turn of the century. Something like a Martini-Henry or even something bolt actioned, I'm not really picky about pseudo-historical accuracy.
The point of the plastic Zouaves would be to do this on-the-cheap, so what kind of options do I have for affordable scale-appropriate weapons?
Also, for anyone that has this kit, how many of the command sprues does it come with?
