Great. Congrats.

Very nice! I'm just at the moment doing something similar, only in 15mm, so your fabulous figures are an inspiration. May I ask were you got the flag of the Hasham cavalry? I found it quite hard to find information on Almoravid flags…
Cheers,
Shandy

Hi,
Thanks four your comments.
I made it myself, its based on the ones used in the film El Cid, so I can't vouch for the historical accuracy
I believe it is supposed to represent a twin tailed comet.
I can send you the file and you can shrink it to 15mm.
Cheers

More wonderful paintjobs.

Where are the Moors from, as I think that I have just found my Haradrim that I have been seeking?

Artizan Designs, I think they would be good as Haradrim, in black and red.

Thank you, bob.
I thought that they may have been.
It is always easier to ask than go and look myself.
;) :D

Well, I don't think anyone today can know how the banner really looked :)
But still, thanks for your offer, but I'll steer away from the movie, as it represents a very peculiar interpretation of the story of El Cid, namely that of Ramón Menéndez Pidal. I'll follow the approach of Richard Fletcher, put forward in his marvelous book The Quest for El Cid.
However, your banner does look good! :)
