I dig those Indian Army fellows, Grimm. Are they Copplestone?
What colours do you use for your khaki uniforms? I like them.
-
Yes they are from Copplestone.
As color I use Black and British khaki ,Brithisch Khaki and Bone and British Khaki all from vallejo colors .
Yes they are sisters like big Joe and kong are brothers

I really, really like the Indian Army guys. The skin color is perfect, and the khaki looks wonderful. Well done!

I'm affraid he won't... my paintjobs aren't really that good...
-
Now, now... if you take a look at Ebay for "pro-painted miniatures", all those guys are still alive (read unstruck by fateful paintbrush thunderbolts), so it means that Apollo has veeery, veeery great patience.
-
Well, as soon as I get something done, that's not LotR (from the company....), I'll post a pic, and you can judge for yourself.
Now I really have to get some warg riders cleaned up for a sprayjob next saturday.....

Oh dear, I painted a squadron of those some years ago on a commission, and they were a paint to clean up! Never saw that many air- and moldlines in my life!
-
(I hope I don't get banned from the forum for this, but:)
It's actaully the plastic ones I'm going to swell the ranks with, I also think the metal ones are very... well, hard to clean up. I only use metal Warg Riders for characters an the like, as they tend to be a little bigger than their plastic cousins...
-
Nothing wrong with plastics, if they are well done. I have to say, I enjoyed painting up LotR plastics far more than I did with the pewter minis.
