Title: Amazing oil paintings of 1920 soviet mechs by Jakub Rozalski

Wasn't quite sure whether top put this in Weird War or here but I elected for here in the end. Don't know much about it but someone I know just shared these on Facebook and I thought people on here would appreciate them.

I think it is rather weird RCW, because some of them have the russian flag, not the soviet one...

The pilot also has a very modern-looking uniform, beret and all.

I've been really enjoying these. The artist is on Facebook and usually posts a new picture every day. Worth following here: https://www.facebook.com/Kubasa?ref=ts&fref=ts (https://www.facebook.com/Kubasa?ref=ts&fref=ts) He seems amused that they are described as 'oil paintings' (they're 30 minute digital sketches). A lot of people seem to miss that many of the mechs are actually Polish.

well, red/white pennants are not unusual for any kind of lancers, and I thought I'd see the white/blue/ red of russia

but now, that You named it, some cavalry uniforms  could be recognisable as polish...

and the style is clearly imitating impressionist style brushstroke, therefore implying "oilpainting"  is not that much far fetched

this one is great!

he has japanese and viking motives as well

Thanks for the link. Some excellent stuff there. This guy should be illustrating rulebooks.  :D
