Hi everyone,
A week or two ago I started the topic "help create a setting for LOTOW", looking for ideas to create Old West settings in anticipation of playing Legends of the Old West. I've started experimenting with creating cheap buildings (maybe 25 cents each). It's in a blogspot gallery, so I can't post it in this thread (I think - help me if I'm wrong)
Anyway, all the pics are here (http://geektactica.blogspot.com)
I'll post again tomorrow when it's painted.

I actually have access to lots and lots of free 2 mm thick cardboard (leftovers from book-binding). Maybe i should try this out, too...

Hi all,

Here it is: http://geektactica.blogspot.com/2008/09/how-to-construct-building-on-budget.html

Looking good. Its great to see the project unfold right from its inception, hopefully to its conclusion with painted figs, a game in pay etc.

nice/ well thought out. looking forward to the finished town. one tip i can give. when creating lots of building by hand. just dont give up. because after a few it becomes annoying. (well did for me when creating western buildings) but you should jist say "itll look awesome wen its done." lol. :D

Things are progressing nicely. I've finished my third building, and the pictures are right over here for those who are interested:
