After seeing so many shanty towns here or on some other forums, I wanted to make mine. It's supposed to be generic enough to play Infinity (in some backward atek village), Warmachine, Force on Force, Songs of or even Eden, Malifaux or some steampunk zombie cowboys stuff if I ever play those games one day.
I will make a few more buidlings and then I will add some rust and do the details to add some life. They will probably take forever since I want to make them different for each game. Like some rusty broken warjacks or bots for Warmachine or Songs of, posters with different alphabets, etc, etc.
But I think it's already playable as it is. That's why I'm showing it to you.

And while I'm at it, a japanese Yu Jing table for Infinity. Also a WIP that will probably never be finished. :D

Thank you for watching or suggesting ideas if you have a few to share and thanks to everybody who made shanty towns before for their ideas.

Wow! These look great PF! Any tips on how you made them?

Those are great, can I ask where the pieces are from on the Japanese board? Particularly the stone lanterns, I'm after a few of those. My Japanese sectorial force is currently being painted, I should get in with making them a home :)

Mr Harold: Those are just balsa left overs from previous buildings, some green stuff tubes and bits for details and a lot of randomness. For the corrugated iron, I used some corrugated paper. Not sure how it's called in english tho.
Dewbakuk: The pagoda and houses are from Plasticraft Games. The trees, little pavilions and the portal are from decorsminiatures.fr. I used some plastic sheet for the portal's tiles tho.I don't know who made the castle and rampart since I traded them. I Made the stone lanterns with the computer and printed them. Unfortunately, I din't find any company willing to produce them.
PS:Forgot to say the pavilions are pretty small. Probably better for 20 mm or smaller minis. Not that buddies at the club care but if you're like me, don't buy them. The site has others.

Thanks PF, that's helpful. Shame about the lanterns I could do with at least 12 :(
