It's 1938 and Herr von Stiehl's expedition to the South Pacific tropical isle of Isla Incognita is ashore. This was the first of three games using Astounding Tales by Howard Whitehouse.

The story advances by briefly captioned photos and is told as a story - not an After Action Report. My hope is that it is evolving into a new form of entertainment in our hobby here:

You will see common and amazing varieties of prodigious vegetation, indigenous inhabitants, dangers ashore and afloat, day and night scenes, snow, (snow?) and panoramas - all blended within a growing awareness that this mysterious isle is not a tropical paradise. Don't miss a single photo in Chapter 4: Landfall in 15,000 Miles From The Past.

At the end under the heading Closing Remarks, is a list of some of the miniatures found in the story.
