Greetings!
I'm yet another long time lurker who finally registered and perhaps I'll contribute something meaningful.
I played my first, last and only game of Warhammer in 1994 at a friend's house, but didn't get minis of my own until '96 when another friend introduced me to Warhammer 40k 2nd Ed. I used to be involved in a regular gaming group of 2nd Ed, but that dissolved shortly before the days of 3rd Edition, also known as "the point that GW's rules lost my interest."
I gradually became a collector and painter, more collecting than painting, of anything that I happened to like, primarily sci-fi minis, Space Marines (Ultramarines), Imperial Guard (Mordians), Chaos Space Marines(Alpha Legiong), a small dose of Reaper's lizardmen, a small foray into Fantasy Dwarves and other small dabblings into other random projects.
I'm blessed with a gaming family, my wife plays some card games, and board games, and my brothers in law are both board gamers and 40k players.
I read LAF daily, and almost every category, so that means I'm eccentric and interested in most all things. I love the scope of interests and the passion put into projects and games that I've seen here. It keeps my hobby blood flowing during the down times.
Currently I'm hoping to get my crew playing Pulp Alley with a Necromunda flavoring, and have a fledgling Empire fleet for X-wing in addition to my 40k armies and other randomness,
So, game on, and thanks for having me.

Welcome Gorilla. :D

Thanks for the welcomes.
So much for a well thought out Introduction. I'm in the USA, far west suburbs of Chicago.
I'd love to be gaming more often, but between working 55 hours a week, a wife, a 5 year old son& another child arriving in the next few weeks its really tough to find time.

When I was back there in Evanston, back in the mid 70s, there were a lot of gamers, clubs & shops all around the west & north Chicago suburbs.
