Indeed!!
Please share the source for these with us!!
Here's hoping they're disgustingly cheap from a local US discount outlet I've overlooked...

Yeah...they're a perfect scale for 28mm, by the looks of it. Most of the toy animal ranges I've seen (Schleich and Papo) tend to be too large so I'd also be very interested in the make!

I used those same animals when I did my 28mm Dark Africa collection. In fact most of the animals I used were discarded toys I found cheap at my local swap meet and repainted. Good stuff. Richard

Some of these are from this...

The others are from Walmart.

I cut some of my hippos off at waterline, and I'm pretty happy with the outcome. You can see them in pics 94-98 of my Darkest Africa Gallery at www.warin15mm.com/28MM-African-Adventure-Gallery.html

Richard,
Who made the flying pelicans and the sitting toucan?

The flying birds are just some pieces I picked up at the swap meet in a stall that sells oriental potted plants... the birds are some of the decoration that they place around the base of the plants along with little ceramic boats or bridges. The birds are plastic on wire... I repainted them. The seated birds I used in the gallery are by Brigade Games. They are from Brigade's Caribbean Empires line of figures (BG-CEA001 Caribbean Parrots & Idols). I think I found them because LAF's Hammers used them in one of his postings. Richard
