Sad news posted by Paul Hicks over on Steve Dean's forum :(
Some sad news regarding a member of our community:(
Looks like Captain Richards who produced amazing terrain and effects has passed away. A post on his blog by his daughter confirms the sad news.

Captain Richards shared many of his terrain artworks here on LAF, and was posting up to just a few weeks ago.
A real talent in miniature buildings, terrain and photography, with a very unique technique and style all of his own. A very sad loss. Respect.

A great talent and an equally great inspiration to many, myself included.
My thoughts go out to those he left behind.

Only just heard this news today from his blog and it came as quite a shock.
His work was so detailed and lovingly put together.
He recently produced a simple tutorial for his "paper brick" method after I bugged him about it, which I have put to good use lately.
